Music Legend Rita Coolidge is now being featured and heard in a two-part radio feature on the nationally syndicated FM Odyssey show talking about her return to her musical roots on her critically acclaimed album entitled “Safe in the Arms of Time,” on Blue Élan Records.

There aren’t many of the original 70s blues and soul ladies left that are actively performing around the world, so when a chance comes up to witness at close range the warm and tender vocals of Rita Coolidge, I’m not hesitating.  So I travelled over 200 miles from North England to a Canary Wharf dinner and music venue in London.

Rita received the Honorary Texan Award from the Governor of Texas as part of the Texas Songwriters Association event. 

Founded in 2013 and formerly known as Interlocken Music Festival, this annual four-day music festival is held at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia.

Rita Coolidge was the keynote speaker and addressed the attendees at Folk Alliance International 2015 in Kansas City, MO.
